Wasteless Expands Battery Collection Network with 31 New Points at Nikora
One of the key prerequisites for responsible waste management is making waste collection more convenient and ensuring that the necessary collection infrastructure is readily accessible. To this end, Wasteless is continuously expanding its collection network, with the aim of bringing collection points as close as possible to people’s everyday routes and convenient, easily accessible locations.
In this regard, Wasteless’ partnership with the Nikora supermarket chain marks an important step forward, helping to further increase the accessibility of waste collection points for the public. As part of the partnership, Wasteless battery collection boxes have been installed at 31 Nikora branches across Tbilisi, allowing people to drop off their used batteries while doing their regular shopping.
This means there is no longer a need to make a separate trip to dispose of used batteries. Simply bring them with you when visiting your local Nikora branch and place them in the designated Wasteless collection box. Waste is part of our everyday lives, which is why responsible waste management should also become part of our everyday routines.
We sincerely thank Nikora for partnering with us and supporting our efforts to make responsible waste management more accessible to the public. Our partnership will not be limited to these 31 locations. In the future, Wasteless battery collection points will be available at even more Nikora branches and in other cities as well.
At the same time, Wasteless hopes that other major retail chains will join the initiative. Expanding the network of accessible collection points makes it easier for people to dispose of their waste properly and, in turn, contribute to environmental protection.
